And what you need to do and practice to make it the most effective home/ self defense tool.

What we liked about the class:

1. Everything. Both you and Steve were great!

2. Let’s start with Safety and having the Safety Monitor Steve as an assistant.

3. The thoroughness of the site setup when we arrived and you getting there before dawn to do so – wow.

4. Your patience with installing the accessories and the review of each one of them was impressive: optics, slings, belts, holsters, loading ammo, etc.

5. Taking time to sight-in and discuss all of the pistols, rifles, shotguns, etc.

6. Speed drills – that was fun

7. All the different practices of shooting, hand control, etc.

8. Reviewing the specifics of everything

9. Scott always checked in on us, asking if he had covered the exact things we wanted to cover – which was an unequivocal yes.

10. Answering all of our questions patiently and with a sense of humor really made it a fun day.

A CHL class or live fire, Scott will cover any questions you may have. His knowledge of defence minded pistol, rifle and shotgun use is a master class in technique and mental mindset reality that should not be missed by anyone who considers what they bought these tool for.

Scott is an excellent teacher for learning self defense with pistols and shotguns. I have learned so much from taking his courses that I can practice at home. He also made one of my kydex IWB holsters for a glock and a kydex sheath for my knife.
